Daniel Residence

The Daniel residence is an example of  home built with “Insulated Concrete Forms” (ICF) which are stackable and interlocking “blocks” with hollow areas that once the blocks are stacked, are filled with concrete providing a very strong “honeycomb” or “grid” of structural concrete surrounded by the insulating “block”. The ICF or “block” is made with an insulating material (usually styrofoam) which provides the insulation for the building.

The beginning stage of ICF wall installation.
An example of the flexibility of ICF’s making curved walls.
